I think the reason Homestuck has such staying power is that deep down, every millennial has two warring wishes - to become a cool hero and make a new perfect world with your best friends, or to be struck by a big space rock, killing us instantly.

The thing about billionaires is we know all of their names, how much they’re making each year, what industries they own, what shit they’re up to to increase their own wealth, etc. So any news story that says the vaguely-defined “elites” are doing something shady, but not listing who is specifically involved, is a red flag.

As someone who’s worked in several cafes, I’m mad at how accurate this is.
I will forever remember the time my friend and I were out for chinese food. we got up to pay and I (the short one with bottom energy i guess?) revealed that I would be paying for the meal, and the elderly man at the counter just flat out said “Oh, YOU’RE the boss!”
